Token of Love Scarf
When we found this black-and-white embroidered panel from 1821 we fell for it instantly!
Thoughtfully stitched by artist Agnes Dickinson, it features the words “Token of Love” and “Those absent yet beloved” in amongst the birds, wreaths and flowers.
We turned it in to a print and married it with another work of art — a French woodcut heart made by Lucienne Marchal featuring the words (in French) “I hope you get everything your heart desires this year." After so many requests from our customers, we're thrilled to introduce scarves to our lineup!
We've modelled the size and weight after our favourite vintage French scarves to create chic, easy to wear designs for every day use. Wear them wrapped once around the neck, tucked in to a jacket, or tied in the hair.
Crafted from soft viscose, the fabric is a lighter, airier weight than our kimonos, with the same beautifully soft feel. They make the perfect gift too!
Pure bamboo / wood viscose. Handwash, hang to dry. 68cm x 160cm.
